Thesis statement discussion

We do write alot in college don't we? papers papers papers when will they ever end. for some of you out there they will not end anytime soon. Mine have slowed down segnificantly. But I do rember how difficult it was to figure out a thesis statement. My tactic was always to first write the paper then work on a thesis for that paper. It always seemed to work out better that way. you may have to end up reorginizing it a little bit but it's bound to happen anyway.
If my advice on writing a thesis is not an option for you then maybe this will help.http://www.schenectady.k12.ny.us/Schenectady_High_School/Library/UnderstandingThesisStatements.pdf Give this page a shot. one of the greatest things about the internet is there is always a way to figure out what you need to do. there is also a copy of keys for writers on reserve behind the desk at Waterfield Library. I always found that book really helpful when writing papers. http://college.cengage.com/english/raimes/keys_writers/3e/students/index.html this link will take you to a text book page for this book.
